The Danish Dining Guide with Lisbeth van Deurs’ well-known steel wire figure as a logo has been published every year since 1978.

The Danish Dining Guide pays attention to the traditional as well as the innovative kitchen.

Bent Christensen, who has been the publisher of the guide from the start, writes in his new book “Madanmelder” that “it is on the base of the classic kitchen that our new Nordic cuisine is gaining glory and honor around the globe these years”.

It is therefore with joy and pride that we, on 27 October 2019 at the big gala dinner at Hesselet, received the winning award for “Open sandwich of the Year / Lunch Restaurant 2019” with the words: “When it comes to the signature Danish sandwich, snaps and beer , we are in the best hands at Schønnemann ”.
