POTATOES
FOR ARISTOCRACY AND PEASANTS
Denmark is a proud agricultural nation with tradition within every aspect of food production. However, it was as late as around 1900 that the fine potato became part of our basic diet. Until then it was only the aristocracy that enjoyed the exotic potato, while those at the countryside still preferred rye bread. At Schønnemann we have something for both aristocracy and peasants – also when it comes to potatoes.
