24. januar 2019Lonely Planet publishes travel descriptions from and around all parts of the world. In a new release, “Ultimate Eatlist”, they have focused on food and pointed out the 500 best dining experiences in the world. Here, smørrebrød is on a distinguished 6th place ranging better than delicacies like pizza from Naples.
We are proud that Lonely Planet points to Schønnemann as a particularly good representative of smørrebrød.
The 500 selected food experiences are based on the huge network at Lonely Planet. They were all asked to identify the gastronomic experiences that had made the greatest impression on them during their numerous journeys. Each experience had to be judged by the taste, the cultural touch and the general atmosphere around the meal. Here the smørrebrød had made such an indelible impression on the many international writers that the smørrebrød from little Denmark came in at an impressive sixth place.
